What is ITR-V?
ITR-V (V for Verification) is the one-page acknowledgement summary the income tax e-filing portal generates after you submit your return. It carries the acknowledgement number, your PAN, the AY, your declared income / tax / refund, and a barcode. If you used Aadhaar OTP or net-banking EVC to verify, the ITR-V is just for your records. If you did not e-verify, you must send a signed ITR-V to CPC Bengaluru within 30 days.
