Adopted child — birth certificate?

Adoptive parents' names appear after adoption deed. Original biological parent details remain in confidential records.

Born outside India — Indian birth certificate?

No — only the country of birth issues birth certs. India can issue a citizenship certificate confirming Indian nationality.
